About New Buck Chimney Services

 

New Buck Chimney Services, LLC is owned and operated by Kevin and Teresa Russell, Kevin has been a Chimney Safety Institute of America- (CSIA) certified chimney sweep for over 20 years. Kevin is part of the National Chimney Sweep Guild and is constantly increasing his knowledge of the industry through continued education. Kevin has all of the qualities of a great business owner:

• He has over thirty years of customer service experience and over twenty five years of management experience.
• He takes the time to listen to customers in order to thoroughly understand their needs and concerns.
• He believes in providing the highest quality service but at a fair price.
• He takes pride in the services he provides and guarantees all of his work.
• He has moral integrity and a high level of ethics.

He has also been to masonry school and has experience building both indoor and outdoor masonry fireplaces. Because of his comprehensive knowledge of fireplaces and chimneys, Kevin has even led seminars to educate home inspectors on proper and thorough chimney inspections.

When Kevin isn’t working to keep the chimneys of the Shreveport, Louisiana area working safely and efficiently, he and his wife Teresa love spending time with their 12 horses. They have a strong, natural connection with the equine family. Kevin is involved with the local 4H horse club and cherishes any opportunity to share his passion for horses with others.

In addition to their work with horses, Kevin and Teresa spend a lot of their free time participating in church activities, serving on church committees, and helping out with special community service projects. They regularly bake cookies, cakes, brownies, and other goods to take to a local cancer treatment center and to their church’s youth events and 4H events.  They believe that we are all responsible for using our gifts and blessings to bless others and make this world a better place. Recently, Kevin and Teresa have established a program called Warrior Horse.  It is a non profit corporation that transforms the lives of military veterans, one horse at a time.  The Warrior Horse program uses a personalized and interactive equine-assisted method, which he refers to as the “Bonding Process” to assist military veterans who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) to begin their recovery from this debilitating disorder. The program is provided at no financial cost to the veterans.
